FAQ

1. What is CBD?

CBD is the abbreviation for cannabidiol, which is one of the 80 cannabinoids (active principles) contained in cannabis. After tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), which is responsible for the psychotropic effect of cannabis, CBD is the second most prevalent cannabinoid in cannabis in terms of concentration. Numerous studies have shown that its use can have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-epileptic, anti-vomitus, antidepressant, anti-depressant and antipsychotic effects.

    2. What is THC?

THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) is also an active ingredient in the cannabis plant. THC is illegal in Switzerland. It is covered by the Narcotics Law. All our products are laboratory tested and contain less than 1% THC in accordance with Swiss legislation.

    3. In what forms can CBD be consumed?

CBD is available in various forms: dried flowers, intended to be smoked or used in phyto-inhalation, but also in the form of oils, crystals, cosmetics, etc.

    4. Can I drive after having consumed CBD?

The Federal Office of Health has issued a directive stating that it is not recommended to drive a car after CBD has been consumed. If the person is tested, it may be possible that a positive result may occur, despite the low THC content. The effect of CBD on driving ability and aptitude is considered negligible in the current state of knowledge. However, CBD-based tobacco substitutes contain small amounts of THC, which may result in the authorized THC blood level (1.5 micrograms of THC per liter of blood) being exceeded. In this case, the person is considered incapable of driving.

      5. What are the risks of carrying CBD with you?

Consumption on the public highway can lead to police control of the product. We, therefore, advise the consumer to keep the Blossom packaging in his possession and if the product has been purchased commercially, a receipt can be used as proof of purchase.
